Gareth Bale's agent said the Welshman was not happy with Real Madrid but had never asked to leave.

Bell's commitment to the 13-times European champion came under scrutiny last month after he helped Wales qualify for the 2020 European Championship and then danced with his teammates in front of a flag titled "Wales. Golf. Madrid.

He was booed by Real fans last month during a match against Real Sociedad.

Bell, 30, was set to leave last summer after coach Zinedine Zidane said before the start of the season he supported his departure before his move to China failed.

"Bill is not high," Bill's agent Jonathan Barnett told the BBC. "He has a contract and as long as he plays at Real Madrid, he will be fully committed."

"He never asked to leave, (but) if the opportunity comes and he has the will, we will talk to the president of Real Madrid and we will see how things go."

Bell missed training on Thursday. Spanish newspaper Marca said he could miss Espanyol's league match on Saturday, as well as a Champions League clash with Bruges due to a muscle strain.
