In the 1-6 loss to Philadelphia last Tuesday, Toronto allowed four goals in three minutes at the end of the game. But the wreck took on the outside players.

So Andersen also faced Colorado on Wednesday, holding zero at the half. But Nathan MacKinnon is one of the NHL's top goal scorers this season and, after ten minutes in the second period, was able to turn 1-0 for Colorado.

Zach Hyman equalized shortly thereafter, but in the third period Andersen was unlucky on a rock-hard shot from Valerij Nitsujkin. Toronto's goalkeeper was then picked out, and Joonas Donskoi was able to determine the final result in an empty cage - Colorado's 100th goal of the season.

Both André Burakovsky and Gabriel Landeskog have been injured, but are now training with Colorado and may be back in Thursday's meeting with Montreal.

So Toronto still has a hard time really lifting under new coach Sheldon Keefe. He has taken over since the team went on six losses in a row, and has so far achieved four wins in seven games played.
