China was without a chance against the group favorite Russia in the premiere and fell by 26-11.

"I know almost nothing about them, only that they are much shorter than me," said the 188 cm long Mikaela Brass before the review and video analysis yesterday.

Federal captain Henrik Signell, however, has a better view of China than he had in the Congo.

- They are smart, mobile, quite aggressive in defense and play fast attacking handball. They have more structure in their game than Congo so it will be a tougher opponent, he says.

Premiere Nerves

25-year-old left-hander Mikaela Mässing, who is a professional in German Thuringian HC, made the World Cup debut against Congo (victory 26-16) and explains the rather shaky performance on the premier nerves.

- It was really cool, of course. I am not completely satisfied but my efforts but blamed it a little on nerves this time, she says and laughs.

Against China, she thinks it will look better.

- I want to see more safety on the track. And more confidence in many, we would feel good about that.

- We want to make more right decisions, have better movement in the attacking game and stick to what we decided to be tactical, says Henrik Signell.
