This week it was clear that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will become a partner in Hammarby. The news broke down with great force in Malmö and gave rise to strong reactions among Malmö FF's supporters.

"Fragile balance"

Team captain Markus Rosenberg was asked about his views on the matter at the press conference following the Europa League meeting with Dynamo Kiev.

- That's a pretty sensitive issue. Football has become quite business oriented in recent years, it is a lot of business and that you have to keep in mind. 2019 it is not just about love and football anymore, he says and continues:

- But it is about a fragile balance between accepting that business orientation and at the same time keeping his team dear. Unfortunately, Zlatan crossed that boundary. At the same time, we all make mistakes and I don't think Zlatan wanted anything bad.

"Don't belong"

According to the news, Zlatan's statue in Malmö has been vandalized. The statue was spray painted and next to it a racist indictment and death threat was formulated, which the police are now investigating as hate crimes. In addition, his residence in Stockholm was subjected to vandalism.

- All hatred, racism and what has happened afterwards do not belong in Malmö FF, says Rosenberg.

- Me and many people with me have seen Zlatan as my role model throughout my career, so it is clear that it will be extremely sad. But it must be a sadness, something sad, and it must not turn into hatred. Everyone can make mistakes and it is just to forgive.
