This was told by RUSADA Deputy General Director Margarita Pakhnotskaya, who also takes part in the work of CAHAMA.

“The members of the special committee of the European Coordinating Council for Interaction with the World Anti-Doping Agency, by overwhelming majority of votes, fully supported the latest recommendations of the compliance committee,” Takhnitskaya quotes TASS.

She emphasized that this fact indicates that there is no trust in the system of Russian sports from international organizations.

On November 25, the WADA Compliance Committee recommended that the executive committee remove Russia from international competitions for four years, as well as ban it from hosting international tournaments. In addition, the participation of Russian athletes in competitions only in neutral status was recommended.

This is due to the identification of intentional changes in the data of the Moscow laboratory, the transfer of which in its original form was one of the key points for restoring RUSADA compliance status with the World Anti-Doping Code.

The WADA Executive Committee meeting on this issue will be held on December 9.

Earlier, President of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Vladimir Drachev said that biathletes are not among the suspects on the basis of the base of the Moscow laboratory.
