“So far, we have really faced a situation when the recommendations of the WADA committee that were not pleasant for us followed. Let's keep the sobriety of evaluations in this case: the information is a concern. The sports authorities of Russia will be open for interaction and cooperation with the international sports community. There were detailed clarifications on the questions that were asked earlier. But to evaluate now, before the recommendations have not taken the form of a decision, we do not consider it possible, ”said Peskov.

On November 25, the WADA Compliance Committee recommended that the executive committee remove Russia from international competitions for four years, as well as ban it from hosting international tournaments. In addition, the participation of Russian athletes in competitions only in neutral status was recommended.

This is due to the identification of intentional changes in the data of the Moscow laboratory, the transfer of which in its original form was one of the key points for restoring RUSADA compliance status with the World Anti-Doping Code.

The WADA Executive Committee meeting on this issue will be held on December 9.

Earlier it was reported that the head of USADA called on WADA to take tough action against Russia.
