New Jersey was down 1-0 when the 21-year-old, who previously played in Brynäs, got a back pass from Wayne Simmonds and with a wrist shot got the puck between his legs at the Cape Kahkonen in the Minnesota goal.

Prior to the second period, the score was 1-1, but Minnesota again took the lead in the second through Jordan Greenway, assisted by Joel Eriksson Ek. Kyle Palmieri acknowledged New Jersey, but in the third period, the away team went into the lead again and the final score is written 3-2 to Minnesota.

"Our technology, especially at the beginning of the game, was nowhere near where it should have been," says New Jersey coach John Hynes during the press conference after the game.

In the Montreal-Boston meeting, the latter dominated. Boston scored eight goals against the Canadiens at away, three of which David Pastrnak did.

During Boston's first 23 games this season, Pastrnak has already scored 23 goals, and Tuesday night's hattrick was his sixth in the NHL.

- It is good. Many of the guys ended up in the scoring protocol. Two points are two points, no matter how you get there. If you win by 1-0 or 8-1, it doesn't matter tomorrow, Pastrnak tells The Boston Herald.

The game against Montréal ended 8-1.
