This morning, the national football team left on a private jet to participate in the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup, which will be held in Doha from 26th to 8th of next month. The team will play in Group A along with Qatar, Iraq and Yemen. Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait.

The technical staff decided to exclude Al Wasl player Ali Salmeen, who will undergo surgery on the knee soon, and Al Ahli Dubai youth player Walid Abbas, who has been tested for medical connectivity muscle and his need for treatment and rest for nearly 6 weeks, along with Al-Jazira player Omar Abdul Rahman, who was in Barcelona in the past few days for tests. He joined the team camp in Dubai late, so the technical staff decided not to place him in the tournament to be played in a compact, and is expected to return to Barcelona to complete his treatment program

The squad included 24 players: Ali Khasif, Khalid Issa, Mohammed Al Shamsi, Adel Al Hosani, Salem Rashed, Mohammed Marzouq, Khalifa Al Nubi, Yousef Jaber, Al Hassan Saleh, Hamdan Al Kamali, Mohammed Barghash, Ahmed Barman, Tariq Ahmed, Abdullah Ramadan and Ismail. Al-Hammadi, Bandar Al-Ahbabi, Khalil Al-Hammadi, Majid Sorour, Mohammed Al-Attas, Ali Saleh, Jassim Yacoub, Khalfan Mubarak, Ahmed Khalil, Ali Mabkhout.
The team is expected to hold its first training session in Doha today in one of the stadiums dedicated to training teams.

The national team will open its career in the Gulf 24 against Yemen on Tuesday, November 26, while in the second match against Iraq on 29 this month to conclude the group stage games on the second of December against Qatar.
