Sävehof took an important step towards the Champions League playoffs on Saturday night as they defeated Slovakian Tatran Presov. But there was no clear profit.

Jonathan Edvardsson started the goal shooting for the Swedes, but then the game swung back and forth at a furious pace.

The law was closely followed and none of them managed to create a lead greater than two points before it was acknowledged and sometimes even turned. At half time it was the same, and it was good close that Sävehof got another cross with the final match against Hallby last.

Decided on the end signal

Sävehof seemed to go to victory but with less than ten seconds left the guests acknowledged. The party team took time out and when the final signal was sounded, Gzim Salihi was pulled down and the referee sentenced the penalty. It managed William Bogojevic well and fixed the victory to Sävehof.

The Champions League group play concludes against Sporting in Portugal next weekend. After the home meeting with Tatran, Sävehof has improved the chances of moving on to the playoffs.

"Of course, we agree with the attitude of getting to a decisive match in a week, though we can't think about that matter now but must focus all the concentration on the match against Tatran," coach Emil Berggren said on Sävehof's website before Saturday's match.
