Roberto Bautista has abandoned the concentration of the Spanish Davis Cup team "due to a family problem," said his communication team.

"The Spanish tennis player has had to leave Madrid this morning, where he was concentrated with the Spanish Tennis Team MAPFRE, due to a family problem," says the note.

"The health of the tennis player's father, who suffered an accident in 2016, has worsened in the last hours so Roberto Bautista is returning to Castellón to meet with the rest of the family urgently," adds the statement he asks on behalf of the player who "maintains discretion and respect for his privacy as until now".
