France has not made the weight. Serbia, led by Novak Djokovic, qualified on Thursday-21-November for the Davis Cup quarterfinals to the detriment of the outgoing runners-up Bleus, who are eliminated from the group stage.

First of group A, Serbia will face Friday one of the two best second in the group stage for a place in half.

Tsonga then Pair failed

Krajinovic beat to start Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 7-5, 7-6 (7/5) and Djokovic brought the point of victory by dominating Benoît Paire 6-3, 6-3. In a match emptied of his stake, Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut won the double.

"I was really ready for this match because we knew for a long time that it would be him or me who would decide the qualification in this group," explained Krajinovic.

Djokovic did seem to be a favorite of his singles and the Frenchmen Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut, just crowned at the London Masters, were for the double.

France, finalist last year but had hardly beaten Japan (2-1) for its entry in the running, is eliminated.
