HV71 took fifth straight after a new big win

HV71 continues to run as the train in the women's high-end ice hockey. Away against last year's finalist Linköping, the fifth straight victory, 7–0, came after the series leader went down to 3–0 in the first period.

Anna Borgqvist put both 2-0 and 3-0 in the first twelve minutes and became a two-goal shooter, just like Sanni Hakala.

The Finnish is now up for 13 hits and shadows the points queen Kennedy Marchment when it comes to most goals scored internally.

Michelle Löwenhielm also had a good evening and scored three points, including one goal.

The big win came three days after HV71 drove AIK 6-1 at home.

HV has only lost two matches so far this season and tops the lopsided table of 52 points, 18 points ahead of Brynäs, which however has three matches less played.
