It was in connection with a run at the national team camp in Bruksvallarna that Ebba Andersson slipped and hit that knee where she previously had an injury. Ebba Andersson has now been x-rayed and assessed by an orthopedic surgeon. The message is that there will be no competition before the turn of the year.

- In the case, she was given a draw in soft parts that engage the area where she previously operated. No surgery is involved, but she has a period of rehabilitation training ahead of her. We are following the process, but at present we cannot expect her to compete before the turn of the year, national team physician Magnus Oscarsson says in a press release.

Ebba Andersson does not currently want to answer questions but wants to focus completely on getting her rehabilitation started.

- It is, of course, very boring what happened. I was really looking forward to start racing this weekend. But the best thing I can do now is look ahead and focus on my rehabilitation so that I can come back as soon as possible, says Ebba Andersson in the press release.
