LONDON (Reuters) - Manchester City reported a record 535.2 million pounds ($ 692.6 million) in revenue last season, boosted by their success in maintaining the Premier League title.

In its annual financial report, Manchester City reported an increase in revenue for the 11th consecutive year and a fifth consecutive year of profit of 10.1 million.

"The season saw six titles at the senior level for both men and women, and the men's team won all four local titles."

Manchester City president Khaldoun al-Mubarak said the club currently had an unprecedented financial position.

"These results do not represent a single season, but they reflect hard work over the past decade."

"The organization is now at a level of maturity that enables us to make plans for many years, both in terms of team management and business."

"This strategic planning allows us to create an environment where success on the pitch is likely to continue and financial sustainability is realistic."

Last season Manchester City retained the Premier League title, one point ahead of Liverpool.

This season, City are now fourth, nine points behind leaders Liverpool.
