The judge who will judge Sweden's match is Daniele Orsoto - the same judge who judged when Sweden made it to the 2018 World Cup by cruising home against Holland in October 2017. Which Janne Andersson remembers.

- It was a good start against Holland at home when we had him, he says.

Through his relationship with Jonas Eriksson, Janne Andersson gets scouting reports on the referees before every match Sweden plays - information that he then shares with the players.

- Jonas sent a good e-mail yesterday so I feel confident that he (Orsato) should judge. I am convinced he will make it great.

What did the report on Orsato say then?

- He is calm, sensed, experienced, does not stress himself and is good linguistically. Quite a few things that are interesting to know about a judge.

- Then it is good if the fourth judge does not understand Dutch.

Even before the introduction of the VAR during the 2018 World Cup, Jonas Eriksson was presenting a presentation to the national team on how the players would act and think about the new aid. Since then they meet every now and then - but above all they have "correspondence" before the matches.

- I am grateful that Jonas wants to help us. He knows many of the judges and has a good track of how they are. Then we do not tell the players if it is a good or bad referee. But for example, this with the language is interesting. It is not always the judge at this level who speaks good English and it is quite good to know before or else you can get frustrated with it.
