Where Zlatan Ibrahimovic is going to go now that he is leaving LA Galaxy, he is wildly speculated. Probably it will record what's best for the Zlatan brand.
- His career has been well directed with many new chapters where he has written new parts of the success story. But the brand should live beyond the finish. I think he becomes a businessman even more after his football career, it will be his new arena to compete in, ”says Niklas Turner Olovzon.
So what would be best for the brand?
- You can see it as Zlatan could put down his flag, his brand, in other countries but he is nearing his end date. I don't think he is building new supporter groups and the US adventure was a way to appease the advertising and supporter market.
- I think Zlatan is going back to Europe.
Why?
- Although we are proud of Zlatan in the world, there are the supporter groups he has built up a loyalty for in Sweden, France, Italy and partly even in England. At some point he will not be able to continue to be a world phenomenon.
- I think the last trip was in the US, where he gave that league and himself PR. It's time to make a mix of his identity, brand and Zlatan as a football player.
Niklas Turner Olovzon also points out that he believes that Zlatan as a person fit best in Italy.
- If you were to make a really good fairy tale, he would end in MFF, but I do not think he will. In a couple of years I don't think Zlatan can go in and just play in the Swedish. Italy would be perfect because he got bigger after he was there, his brand peaked somewhere in PSG, then maybe it was maintained in Manchester United.
- He has built on his brand after the Milan era, which is why I think he would return as a big name for Serie A and be a strong brand. From an imaginary point of view, I think a return there would be perfect.
