Mattias Ritola gave Leksand the lead at the end of the first period with a neat shot straight into the cross.

The Dalal team won the shots 15-7 in the first and after the break they were closer to 2-0 than Linköping was a receipt.

Then came the stage change.

• Adam Helewka acknowledged just one minute after Leksand's Jon Knuts missed a free-kick.

• Andrew Gordon made a delicious 2-1 from close range in powerplay after goalie Axel Brage was overplayed.

• Gordon had another puck in goal in numerical superiority, but the referee dismissed the goal because Brage was interrupted by Broc Little in the goal yard.

• Instead, Little elegantly lifted itself 3–1 from the position behind the extended goal line. New goal in powerplay.

• And Sam Lofquist bombed 4-1 from the blue line with a powerful shot. LHC's third goal in powerplay.

Linköping now leaves the jumbo spot and climbs three places to eleventh place.
