Ville Leskinen leaves Färjestad with immediate works

Tonight Färjestad receives Frölunda in the CHL eighth final. And with just three hours before the match, Färjestad announces that Ville Leskinen will leave the club with immediate effect. - We have agreed to be separated, and we are doing so in agreement, says Färjestad's general manager Peter Jakobsson.

There were 7 points in 20 matches in Färjestad (14 SHL + 6 CHL) for Ville Leskinen. But now the club has made a joint decision with the Finn that it is time to leave.

- Boring simply. He did not want to get to the desired level, neither he nor we think so. We have therefore agreed to be separated, and we do so in agreement, says Färjestad's general manager Peter Jakobsson.

It is already known that the shooting king in Frölunda, Ryan Lasch, is unsure of play in eighth one of two against Färjestad. The American was injured and did not train with the team on Monday.

- Let's see ... he's 50/50 anyway, coach Roger Rönnberg tells GP.

The return meeting will be played on Tuesday next week and will be broadcast in SVT.

Five Swedish teams in the playoffs

In addition to Färjestad and Frölunda, the Swedish teams Skellefteå and Djurgården also play against each other tonight. Luleå meets the Swiss Bern and starts at away.

The match between Skellefteå and Djurgården aired tonight in SVT and you can see it HERE. Highlights and interviews will also be shown from other matches.
