This is not the first time that Denmark is making sloppy jam by Georgia. In fact, the only time that a Danish women's national has won major was in an international match in 2009 against just Georgia, when they won with 15-0.

This time, the victory result stopped at 14-0.

- We would have liked to have made number 15 and number 16 as well. We went to beat the record, says Denmark's federal captain Lars Søndergaard to DR.

Nadia Nadim made the 1-0 early as the fourth minute and then flew one ball after another into the net behind goalkeeper Tatia Gabunia. After the first half, it was already 10-0 and when the game was over, had three players - Nadim, Pernille Harder and Stine Larsen - made three goals each.

- We were aiming for basically everything. It is almost surreal to play such a match. It is actually completely insane, says Rosengårdsbacken Sofie Svava.

Denmark missed the soccer World Cup last summer but emerges as a steamroller in the European Championship qualifiers. The team has five wins out of five possible and 29-0 in goal difference, but still does not top Group B. It does Italy which has played one more match, and also took full pot after defeating Malta by 5-0 on Tuesday. Both matches between Italy and Denmark will be played next year.
