Donyell Malen reported again after a three-week absence on the PSV training field. The striker worked individually on Tuesday at De Herdgang on his recovery.

Malen, who due to his injury was not called up for the upcoming matches of the Dutch national team, got injured his ankle one day before the Europa League match with LASK (Thursday, October 24) and has since missed all PSV games.

The top scorer of the Eredivisie had to watch from the side how the Eindhoven team in the last five games were unable to win and even lost three times.

In the Europa League against LASK it became 0-0 at home and PSV lost 4-1. In the Eredivisie the team of coach Mark van Bommel without Malen did not win against AZ (0-4 loss), Sparta Rotterdam (2-2) and Willem II (2-1 loss).

The twenty-year-old striker was working on a strong season for his injury. He already scored ten times in the Eredivisie, three times in the group stage of the Europa League and managed to find the net against Germany during his debut for the Orange in September (2-4 victory in the European Championship qualification).

PSV was also unable to rely on Steven Bergwijn (hamstring injury) in recent weeks. The 22-year-old attacker was therefore not called up for the Orange, but nothing has been announced about his return.
