Umeå FC to the superette - "There will only be tears"

Isaac Boye, on loan from Örebro SK, will be remembered as the one who shot Umeå to the superette.

On a rainy Viking ravine, Frej defender Jean Carlos de Brito stood for a mistake that gave Boye the chance. He shot nicely just outside the penalty area and then it was 1-0 already after two minutes.

Eleven minutes later Boye came free again and chipped over Emil Magnusson in the Frej goal.

Frej still came back and Moustafa Zeidan's two quick goals made it 2-2 already after half an hour.

With less than ten minutes left, Frej had a shot in the bar, but they did not want to, and they go down after five straight seasons in the super.

2-2 became the final result and thus Umeå goes to the superetta thanks to more made goals. The meeting in Umeå ended 1-1.

So a new team in the Super Eight, but Öster gets to play in the series after beating Landskrona Bois in the qualifier.

Again, the first meeting had ended 1-1 and in Växjö the match was 1-0. Former All-Swedish profile James Keene put 1-0 late and shortly thereafter he dribbled a penalty in the bar.
