The two 17-year-olds are Swedish ice hockey's most exciting talents and compete against two-year-old players to take a place at JVM, which will be decided in the Czech Republic December 26-January 5.

Maybe they secured their places on Sunday.

They made sure that Sweden turned 0-1 to 2-1 against Finland, which won the JVM last season in Vancouver. Djurgården's Holtz acknowledged in the second period and Frölundas Raymond scored the victory in numerical superiority with only 1.45 left to play.

The duo was behind U18 gold

It was the 17-year-old's first goal in the J20 national team.

Holtz and Raymond were behind Sweden's gold in the U18 World Cup last spring, the first in history. Lucas Raymond made a hat trick in the final against Russia which he decided by extension.

Sweden won the tournament after three straight wins, 2-1 over both the Czech Republic and Finland and 6-1 over Russia.

A perfect genre for federal captain Tomas Montén and his team. The tournament in Helsinki was the last before he presents the squad for the junior World Cup on December 4.
