Team Hasselborg won the Grand Slam tournament

The reigning Olympic champions, Team Anna Hasselborg from Sweden, won their third Grand Slam tournament of their career when they beat Team Kerri Einarson in the Canadian Pictou final with 8-5. - It feels fantastic, says Anna Hasselborg to the tournament's website.



Team Hasselborg lost only one match in the tournament and it was against the reigning world champions of Team Silvana Tirinzoni, Switzerland.

- We have improved all the way from quarter-finals, to semi-finals, to finals. It is so special to win our third Grand Slam. It's huge, says Hasselborg.

Last year, teams Hasselborg Elite 10 and Masers won and now they can also count in Tour Challenge among the victors.

- I'm so proud of the girls. They played so well, says Sara McManus.

The team consisted of Hasselborg, McManus, Agnes Knochenhauer and Sofia Mabergs and they gave a nice shape message for the European Championship which starts next weekend.

The Swedish gentlemen in team Edin went out in the quarterfinals.
