Striker Jürgen Locadia and coach Alfred Schreuder enjoy being part of the top of the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim for the time being. Locadia helped his team on Friday with a goal in injury time at the fifth consecutive victory.
In the match with 1. FC Köln, 26-year-old Locadia took advantage of a penalty in the 98th minute: 1-2. "It is a great feeling to score in such an atmosphere and under such pressure," said the former PSV player.
"This was a very important match with the international match approaching. We can now rest and recharge for the next series of matches."
Although Hoffenheim can still be passed by a number of clubs later this weekend in the rankings, Schreuder's team may currently call itself the number two in Germany. Locadia enjoys the good performance, but remains careful.
"It's hard to say what's possible," he says. "The more you win, the higher the expectations. We don't have to set big goals, but we'll see where we stand at the end of the season."

Schreuder sees that it is currently going well
Coach Schreuder, who came over from Ajax at the start of this season, is happy with countryman Locadia with the performances of Hoffenheim. According to 47-year-old Barnevelder, everything is currently in favor of his team.
"We are again very happy with this victory and enjoy our team, although we have had some luck against Köln with that goal in the last minute. We had a hard time for a long time," said 47-year-old Barnevelder.
After the international match, Hoffenheim will play at home against FSV Mainz on 24 November. The rest of 2019 will also be played against Fortuna Düsseldorf, RB Leipzig, FC Augsburg, Union Berlin and Borussia Dortmund.
