SC Heerenveen has retained the unbeaten series on Saturday in the Eredivisie. The Frisians converted a 0-1 deficit into a 2-1 win in the final phase of the home match against Sparta Rotterdam.
Chidera Ejuke became the big man on the Heerenveen side. After the 0-1 of Lars Veldwijk, the attacker was responsible in the 26th minute for the 1-1 (73rd minute) and the 2-1 (79th minute).
Heerenveen has therefore been unbeaten for seven consecutive games and has climbed to the handsome sixth place in the rankings in the last few weeks with 21 points from thirteen games.
As a PhD student, Sparta is also in good shape. Although the Rotterdam-squad won for the last time more than a month ago, they are still neatly eleventh with sixteen points from thirteen matches.
