Since the departure of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid in the summer of 2018 and the French striker Karim Benzema has become the top scorer of the Royal team and his first star.

The figures indicate that Benzema, who will be 32 next month, beat Ronaldo, 34, with goals scored since the departure of Don to the Bernabeu.

The former French international has scored 39 goals in 67 games against Ronaldo 34 in 56 games.

"Benzema's numbers are talking about him," said Real coach Zinedine Zidane. "He is a first-rate player, like Ronaldo in the club's history.
