The youth soccer team started their qualifying campaign for the AFC U-19 Championship with a 4-0 win over Nepal in their opening Group D match on Wednesday at Bass Stadium in the Iranian capital Tehran. The qualifiers, which will last until the 10th of this month, where the team includes alongside Nepal, Iran and Kyrgyzstan.
Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Mazmi (27), Issa Khalfan Al Harrasi (37), Khalifa Yusuf (71) and Abdullah Hamad Al Menhali (81) scored the team's goals.
The team will play its second match in these qualifiers on Friday against Kyrgyzstan, while wrapping up his career in the qualifying meeting with Iran next Sunday.
