American Tayler Mingo is a basketball nomad. She changes club often and a lot and comes closest to a hit in the Chilean CD Gimnastico. Last year she did seven games for Umeå before that adventure was over.

- We go different ways and it is a common decision, commented Umeå coach Janne Enjebo in vk.se.

Back in Telge

But now Tayler Mingo is back in the basketball league, in his old club Telge. In 2017/18 she was chosen as the league's best player in Telge's colors. Together with Tilde Ahlin, she was recruited on a short-term contract to give up an injured squad. Mingo and Ahlin are also a couple of two years ago and engaged write lt.se.

"We have a tendency to get a little annoyed at each other when things go bad," Tilde Ahlin told the newspaper.

Ahlin was there

Ahlin is born in Södertälje BBK and has always remained in Södertälje when Tayler has moved around because of the basket. Ahlin has in recent years chosen to invest more in his civilian career as a nurse. And the fact that Tilde was here was one of the big reasons why Mingo chose Södertälje.

- It made the decision much easier. We both really get the best of two worlds where we get to spend as much time as possible with each other and at the same time get to play good basketball that we both love, Mingo tells lt.se.

Four straight for Telge

Opponents tonight are the women's reigning champion team Umeå. Umeå is in fifth place. Has three wins and one loss so far. The loss came a couple of weeks ago in the home meeting against Norrköping. Now Telge is waiting for the table, which has four straight wins after the loss in the home premiere in September.
