Charlotte Kalla was not the best Swedish in the World Cup for the first time in almost ten years. She left the competition period with some heavy races in the baggage, which made the charge for the new season a little different.
- I am used to going into the summer with high capacity but this time I have felt that I was not as strong, I did not have the same riding capacity or recovery, she tells SVT Sport.
Although she does not want to speculate on the upcoming season, it is difficult to avoid.
- I know it is about picking up the patience, the season is long but I am as curious as everyone else is. But the season starts soon so we will find out soon, ”she says.
Last season, it was Ebba Andersson who ranked highest among the Swedes in the overall World Cup. Andersson himself was impressed to be able to break Kalla's powerful suite at the top of Swedish skiing. Kalla is also impressed by Andersson's skiing.
- My suite has never been a focus for me but I am incredibly impressed by her focus. That as a young rider she could be at the top as long as she shows what capacity she has.
