The PSG star Neymar was the subject of a reminder to the law for having dealt a blow to a spectator after the defeat against Rennes in the final of the Coupe de France, was learned Monday from concordant sources, confirming information from L'Equipe.
The public prosecutor's office in Bobigny told AFP that it had "sent a reminder to the law by mail" to the player, which constitutes a form of classification without following the procedure.
The 29-year-old spectator filed a complaint in August for "willful violence".
"I find it unacceptable, we justify the violence," responded the lawyer's supporter Philippe Ohayon, evoking the "resonance of this coup". "If it was the supporter who hit the football player, he would have been in court, maybe sentenced to prison, banned from stadium."
On April 27, after PSG's defeat against Rennes at the Stade de France, Neymar was caught by the spectator just as he was going to get his medal for the final.
"Oh, learn to play football, you!" the man had thrown at him, after having insulted other Parisian players.
Neymar had replied at once, without much force, to his face.
The N.10 gesture videos had inflamed social media during the hours following the match.
"Did I do it wrong? Yes, but no one can remain indifferent," the Brazilian had defended himself on Instagram.
The player was suspended three firm games and two suspended for his action.
