Öster did the job at home against Frej, which paved for the Bromma boys in the bottom fight. The Red Blacks needed to beat Jönköping's South on away ground to remain in the Superettan, but the match ended 2-2.

Although BP put the receipt in the 96th minute, it was enough to crush the all-Swedish dream for J-Södra. BP leaves the series - and thus the division in the series system is changed for the seventh year in a row.

Team captain Pontus Segerström, 33, lost the fight against cancer and the entire BP family was in mourning. Out on the plane, the red-black ship could not withstand the Swedish storm. BP finished last in the series.

0-3-7 after ten rounds, and when the season was summed up, the Bromma boys stood as table jumbo for the second year in a row. After a scuffle against Mjällby in the bottom fight, the relegation was a fact and BP had to start all over again.

2019: Going out of the Superettan

It didn't help with a 2-2 goal in the final minutes. The Bromma boys got a sad look up to Frej and Öster, both one point ahead of BP, and shared the grief with Jönköping Södra, who in turn thus missed the Swedish qualifying spot.
