An official source in the Football Association denied the news circulated in some networking sites meeting on the resignation of the Board of Directors, stressing that there is no truth to such news, describing it as mere rumors
The federation continues to perform its duties normally until the end of the current election cycle, which will last until 2020, the source told Emirates Today.
The Council of the Football Federation set during its last meeting chaired by Marwan bin Ghalita, next December to convene the extraordinary General Assembly to form a committee to oversee the elections of the Football Association for the new election cycle 2020-2024 and another committee to appeal.
