The UFC Gala at Madison Square Garden in New York, Sunday morning Swedish time, is one of the biggest MMA events of the year. Veterans Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal, both 34 years old, then make it to the main game at an otherwise star-filled gala.

One who, according to the New York Times, reported visiting the crow is US President Donald Trump, who was honored earlier this week when he visited the baseball game in the World Series between Houston and Washington.

Trump's visit, along with the New York Marathon on Sunday, makes it expected to be traffic chaos in the big city this weekend.

"No matter what you think of Trump as president, it's a tough guy in his own right," says Jorge Masvidal, according to MMAjunkie.com.

The Rock: "A brilliant idea"

Movie star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, the world's best-paid actor in 2019 according to Forbes magazine, will distribute a special "BMF belt" to the winner of Diaz and Masvidal.

A one-time event on the part of the UFC and a kind of tribute to two audience favorites for long and loyal service in the company.

- This is a fun and brilliant idea. I'm really looking forward to getting there because the atmosphere will be electric, ”Johnson told ESPN.

Nate Diaz - one of the UFC's biggest stars since the victory against Conor McGregor in 2016 - takes on the belt. It was he who challenged Masvidal directly in the cage after winning in his comeback in August.

- The belt is already mine because it is I who created all this. But honestly, I don't care about any belt. I already know what I'm going for and that's why I've never hunted a belt like the rest of these guys, he tells MMAjunkie.
