Sirius was a bottom team last season and did not have many advocates when the team was visiting this spring's final team Västerås and already after five minutes the home team took an expected lead when Stefan Edberg made 1-0 for VSK.
After Martin Landström made 2-1 for VSK the match turned and Sirius rushed away to 7-3 before Västerås chased to catch up.
When Jesper Hermansson cut 6-7 for VSK in the 90th minute, the hunt for a receipt was in full swing, but Sirius was able to hold off for the five minutes of extra time and salvage the victory.
