An Algerian physics teacher has chosen the best goal in the African Nations Cup, which was crowned by his country this year, scored by star Greens Riad Mehrez against Nigeria, the subject of the examination of his students in the secondary stage.

The test paper issued by Ait Aziz, a physics teacher at Zaidi Mohammed High School in Bouira governorate, south of Algiers, was reported by local media.

The subject of the exam was directed to second year secondary school students (third stage before entering university) majoring in experimental sciences.

The test included a picture of the free-kick taken by Mehrez in the last 94 minutes of the African Cup semi-final in Egypt last summer, and allowed the Greens to reach the final.

The test started from the fact that the player shot from 21 meters, at an initial speed of 75 km / h and settled in the left corner of the goalkeeper Daniel Kepey.

The teacher asked his students to determine the speed of the ball crossed the line by neglecting air resistance, and find the force of friction by adopting laws and physical equations.

Mehrez's goal of the year was named Africa's best and sparked the joy of the Algerians who took to the streets to celebrate the final, where Senegal faced Senegal.

Mehrez said in his repeated interviews since the tournament was crowned that his goal against Nigeria remains the best in his career.

Mehrez is the current captain of the national team and plays for Manchester City and won in 2016 the award for the best player in the Premier League and the best player in Africa.
