On December 1, 2016, Rissanen scored for his Jokerit in KHL. He then played 113 games without scoring goals, of which 48 with Örebro last year. On October 5, he finally scored again against Skellefteå and on October 17 he became a match hero with his 3-2 goal against Linköping.

In tonight's match against Färjestad, he kept coming back. After only 31 seconds he played Marcus Weinstock to 1-0 and when barely half the match was played he made himself 3-0.

Örebro is the big surprise to them this season and the match against "big brother" ended with a convincing victory. With that, Örebro is a new series two behind Frölunda.
