James Harden, one of the NBA's top stars, offered a show as he led his Houston to a record win against Washington last night.

The numbers were written to 159-158, which meant that the game became the third most scoring match in NBA history.

Harden started convincingly with 21 points in the first half of the game and it then ran away. In total there were 59 points for the basketball star. The Houston Rockets have had a completely approved start to the season with three wins in four games.

30-year-old Harden has now scored 50 points in a match in six straight seasons.
