53 seconds at the end of the second period created a great nerve in the match and trembled at home team. The HV71 scored two quick goals and suddenly it looked like another collapse was in the offing for the series final.

But in the third period, Linköping rose. After a messy situation at HV71's goal, Olle Lycksell dug out the puck and gave Eddie Larsson. The team captain thanked, received and broke his goal drought for the season as he put 4-3. Just over two minutes later, Henrik Törnqvist decided after a game turn when he whipped up 5-3 in the net.

Thus, the East Goths left the last place and broke the gloomy suite.

- It's fantastic how the match turned out. It's going to be a damn war and we lost the lead. But we managed to bite in a way that is wonderful, we continue to be disciplined and strong in the final period. This group has gone through a lot of crap now and is starting to harden, says Linköping's coach Bert Robertsson to C More.
