“The TV puck is a fun tournament with high status and it will be fun to follow the weekend's playoffs,” says Jonas Andersson.

The playoffs are decided in Leksand while the medal matches are played in Falun. The Dalars have qualified for the quarter finals on both the boys and girls side, so maybe that can attract some extra crowd.

"Hockey Sweden feels good"

“A little surprising that last year's winner Gothenburg and Stockholm South went out,” says Jonas. Funny that more "new" districts have moved on, it shows that hockey Sweden is doing well, says Jonas.

Of last year's eight quarter-final districts, only three remain, Gästrikland, Småland and Stockholm Nord.

One district that surprised the SVT expert positively is Södermanland, which has not been this far in the tournament for several years.

- Two players in Södermanland that will be extra interesting to see are Noah Östlund and Jonathan Lekkerimäki, says Jonas Andersson.

Double quarter finals for Södermanland

Södermanland is also in the quarterfinals among the girls and in the team there are several players who participated and won the last Ståbucklan last winter.

Jonas Andersson has played the TV puck for Stockholm. He was benched in the semi-finals.

“It was the best thing I could do because then I knew I had to train even more and harder,” says Jonas.

This year's tournament consists of players born in 2004 or later.

The games are commented on by Chris Härenstam together with the experts Jonas Andersson and Maria Rooth. Program Manager Dusan Umicevic.
