When Falkenberg turned and won the bottom meeting with Kalmar FF on Saturday, the bottom team AFC Eskilstuna was in great need of victory at home against Sirius on Sunday. Sirius, on the other hand, could manage with a cross.

It was noticed in the first half when AFC was the better team, but where hardly any goals were created. In the best position, the slop was Wilhelm Loeper who nodded hard against the goal, but where Lukas Jonsson made a nice save.

- We must not think that we should have crosses, it is fatal. But we were a little passive at first, said Sirius striker Ian Sirelius during the break to CMore.

Sirelius had Sirius only really decent chance in the first, but missed grossly at one corner.

But despite that attitude, there was even more AFC in the second half. And during the final quarter Sirius was completely focused on keeping zero. And that was achieved by covering shots and standing right.

Rydström: "Suffering with them"

- Nice that we secured the contract before the last round. It will be fun to meet Kalmar, as I have been for many years, and we will try to make it tough for them, even if I suffer with them in Kalmar, said Sirius coach Henrik Rydström.

- It's heavy. We were the better team and played pretty well. We needed to be more determined around the penalty area, said AFC's Adi Nalic afterwards.

"Now everything is decided away against Falkenberg," Nalic continued.

Since AFC Eskilstuna meets Falkenberg (with poorer goal difference), the bottom fight lives on in the final round. AFC and Gif Sundsvall are two points behind Falkenberg.
