Handball goalkeeper Den Beutler last season got stuck in a doping test, which showed positive for cocaine. He was sentenced to 15 months in prison.

However, he appealed against the sentence, and has now had his sentence reduced to twelve months' suspension.

- I think they took into account that I was now diagnosed with ADHD, seen my desire to find new ways and the development I was fighting for. It has also been important for me to do regular drug tests, Beutler tells Aftonbladet.

"Chance to be involved"

The 42-year-old now hopes to be able to make a comeback this spring.

- The suspension is valid for one year from when I was tested on March 28. That means I actually have a chance to be involved this season, to be able to participate in the playoffs, he says.

Beutler made 71 international matches between 2002 and 2010, and has played in IFK Ystad, German Flensburg and most recently HK Malmö.
