In Detroit, Linus Ullmark palled for 41 shots, thus holding zero as his Buffalo defeated the home team. It is the first time this season that Ullmark has zero, and third in his NHL career. Victor Olofsson got an assist and 29-year-old Marcus Johansson celebrated his 600th NHL match.

"Linus helped us ride out the storm," coach Ralph Krueger said at the press conference after the match and continued:

- He has been excellent. (Goalkeeper coach) Mike Bales has done an excellent job with our goalkeepers and you can see that Linus was very calm today. He was forced to save many shots while the slopes worked hard to avoid rebounds.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson made a receipt when Arizona defeated New Jersey.

When Pavel Zacha failed to clear the puck, Arizona's Swedish star back Ekman-Larsson arrived and disturbed.

The forecheck was so successful that the 28-year-old team captain from Tingsryd brought the puck and with a draw shot received it at the far post. The performance meant that Arizona acknowledged 3-3 in the second period.

Ekman-Larsson was also noted for an assist to the 2-1 goal, thus making his second two-pointer of the season.

In the third period, Arizona was able to take the lead, and then finish with a goal in the open box, which resulted in a 5-3 result. The Glenda team has gained speed in the North American Pro League, winning six of the last eight matches.
