Juventus were held to a 1-1 draw at Lecce in the ninth round of the Serie A championship.

With this draw, Juventus have 23 points, maintaining the top, while Lecce have eight points in 16th place.

Both teams were unable to take advantage of the chances they had during the first half and translated them into goals to end in a goalless draw.

The series of wasted attacks continued during the second half, until the 50th minute came to witness the goal of Juventus through the Argentine Paulo Dybala from a penalty.

Shortly afterwards, six minutes later, the referee awarded a penalty for Lecce, which Marco Mancuso scored on goal.

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo, who coach Mauricio Sarri preferred to give him a rest, was absent from the squad.
