SVT Sports broadcast on site, Therese Bosta, reported directly in the Morning Studio from the glacier at 3000 meters altitude, where the fog swept in over the hill.

- This competition has been set for the men for the past two years. But it will be sunny over the weekend. Our expert Pernilla Wiberg says that it is the most difficult hill on the whole tour and last year it was "vomit snow", says Bosta.

After Frida Hansdotter laid down, the greatest expectations of Sara Hector, who was twelve in the grand slam cup last season, tied a discipline won by sovereign Mikaela Shiffrin.

- It is perhaps the toughest slope of the year, which is related to the slope being so long. It's not my absolute favorite hill, but it's a wonderful premiere, "says Hector.

Estelle Alphand makes a comeback barely a year after the difficult foot fracture.

How steep is the slope?

Olsson: "Is there a tension"

On the men's side, the Swedish union has made an extra effort on Matts Olsson who was eight in the big slalom cup last season.

- There is a strain for the steeple and I hope it can go fairly clean and that it will not hack. I hope to be able to fall down the hill in a decent way, says Olsson ahead of Sunday's competition.

Legend Marcel Hirscher, who took eight straight total victories in the World Cup, has left and leaves a big void - but also opportunities for the competitors.

- When he has left, there is another place on the podium vacant, Olsson thinks.

After the sneaking premiere this weekend, the World Cup will pause for a month before the tour stops for slalom competitions in Finnish Levi.
