Luka Doncic managed triple-double, scored eight of his 25 points in the last five minutes of regulation time and led the attack of the Dallas Mavericks, who beat the New Orleans Pelicans 116-123.
At 25 points, Doncic added 10 rebounds and 10 assists , while Kristaps Porzingis scored 24 points.
With their victory the Mavericks, who had the Delon Wright reserve with 20 points, remain undefeated so far this new season.
The Pelicans had the direction of Brandon Ingram, with 25 points as the leader of the attack. Ingram led the Pelicans after scoring 22 points in a loss to the defending NBA champions, the Toronto Raptors, in their first season game, Tuesday night.
Derrick Favors and Josh Hart each had 16 points for the Pelicans, while Lonzo Ball added 15.
