Taekwondo, the UAE's national team, has lifted the UAE's harvest to 20 colorful medals at the 6th GCC Women's Sports, currently held in Kuwait. This came through four medals, most notably the gold Badria Mohammed in the weight of 46 kg, silver Sa'ad Al-Mesmari in the weight of 57 kg, and bronzetta Mariam Salem and Manahil Suhail in the weight of 67 and 49 kg.

The UAE medals were divided between four golds, six silver and 10 bronze medals, all achieved by five teams; fencing (11 medals), Taekwondo (4 medals), bowling team (bronzeitan), archery team (bronzeitan), handball team (silver medal) ). Badriya Mohammed won the gold medal on Monday after beating Oman's Riana Al-Harthy in the final and Kuwait's Fatima Jassim in the semi-finals, while Bahrain topped the 73 kg event, where Sarah Mahmoud came first. On the other hand, the athletics team concluded its preparations yesterday, in preparation for the start of competitions today. The team will participate in four competitions: running, shot put, discus throwing, and javelin throwing, which will be held over three days from today until 29th. The athletics team includes five players: Fatima Al Hosani, Latifa Issa, Buthaina Jassim, Ibtisam Khamis Al Robari, Sahar Al Obed Administrative, and Jalila Brigadina as coach.

In the futsal, the team will kick off against Kuwait today for the first round. Al-Abyad will participate in the tournament alongside Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain.
