After the conflict around the women's crowns, league captain Ylva Martinsen took out the first squad of the season. In it are four debutants, one of them is Djurgården's Josefin Bouveng.

- Of course it's great fun! This is something I have long wanted to do so it will be very exciting, ”says Bouveng to SVT Sport.

Although she is a debutant in the women's crowns, the outrage has not gone unnoticed, but Bouveng does not want to focus on that.

- I've tried not to put that much personal energy into it, but just focus on me and my game first and foremost.

"Want to contribute"

The 18-year-old has been an important cog for Djurgården during the season where she played all the matches and scored three goals. But despite doing well in SDHL, she has not taken a national team place for granted.

- It is not me who takes the team, but I feel that I have developed and always try to do my best. Obviously, I knew the opportunity was there, she says.

Despite his young age, Josefin hopes to find his own way to contribute to the team, both on and off the ice.

- I'll do as well as I can. I want to contribute with my game and just be myself outside.
