The draw for the Gulf Cup (Gulf 24) on Wednesday in Doha with the participation of five teams, and resulted in the Asian champions Qatar play their opening match against Yemen next month.

The competition will take place in a one-round league at Khalifa International Stadium, one of the stadiums that will host matches at the 2022 World Cup.

Also in the first round, holders Oman will play Iraq, while Kuwait's Al Ittihad has requested that it start from the second round.

The tournament will take place between November 27 and December 9, while Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain have decided not to participate due to the political crisis with Qatar.

First round November 27: Yemen with Qatar, Oman with Iraq

Second round 30 November: Kuwait with Yemen, Qatar with Oman

Round 3 December: Iraq with Kuwait, Yemen with Oman

Round 4 December 6: Oman with Kuwait, Qatar with Iraq
