Daniel Nannskog opened his eyes to Bennison early. Even before the summer World Cup he had had her as a joker before taking the squad, to take a place. She didn't get it then, but now she gets the chance to show off.

- I already knew last summer that she could be a joker. It might be wise to let her develop further, it might be a little early to throw her in. It is a perfect opportunity to take a closer look at such a player during a training match, in addition when there is such a merited resistance, says Nannskog.

"This is our future anyway"

Nannskog believes that Bennison will develop a lot from playing against as good a team as the United States, and that it is something she will be able to bring with her in the future.

- This is our future, after all. If you can feel the hot air with an a-country team against such a meritorious resistance as the US at such an early age, it is clear that it provides an enormous amount for such a young player.

In the squad there was another debutant who impressed in the damsel Swan this year, Vittsjö's Michelle De Jongh. The 22-year-old has scored nine goals in 21 matches, and that is also a player that Nannskog thinks deserves a place in the squad.

- It's also perfect to test such a player as De Jongh. I am very pleased that the two of them came along, he says.
