During the Korean Men's Professional Golf Tournament, the period of disciplinary action for Kim Bio, who had caused great criticism due to the 'finger swearing' towards the gallery, has been reduced.

The Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) decided to hold a board meeting at KPGA Building, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, to reduce Kim Bio's suspension from 3 years to 1 year and grant 120 hours of volunteer work.

The fine of 10 million won was maintained.

KPGA said Kim took account of the mistake and reflected it sufficiently.

Kim Bio was swearing at his fingertips as he was disturbed by the camera's shutter sound during the tee shot at the 16th round of the DGB Financial Group Volvik Daegu Gyeongbuk Open on the 29th of last month.

Afterwards, KPGA held a punishment committee on Dec. 1 and decided to punish Kim Bio for three years of suspension and fines.

As a result, Kim BIO has been able to participate in the competitions hosted and hosted by KPGA since the 2021 season.
